The Samson Servo 200 is a power amplifier that will give you a great amount of power for your midsized speaker chain. You can use it for studio monitors too but for the best performance I suggest sticking with using it for your speaker chains in live events.
There are 100 watts for each side of this amplifier at 4 ohms and 200 watts mono at 8 ohms (bridged). This amplifier is very clean and quiet and will make your speakers a lot louder and warmer than they naturally are.
It has RCA inputs and ¼ inch inputs to connect to your speakers. You can rack this unit but it will take up two rack spaces. It has 3 LED meters to read your levels easily no matter where you are. We could even see the levels from across the stage. We have been using this amplifier for over a year now for some gigs and we love how much louder it gets our speakers. It is not for larger venues or speaker chains though. The more speakers you have means you will need to upgrade to a different device similar to this one. The most attractive thing about this amplifier is the price, it is very affordable and it does a great job for the price that it cost.
I have used many models of speaker amplifiers but none of them at this price. I was very skeptical purchasing this unit because I did not think that it could possibly be that good for as little as it cost but boy was I wrong. This unit delivers a great amount of power for your sound. I would purchase this again if needed. The only thing that I would change about it would be to make it one rack space because it does not seem to need to racks. They could have made it smaller and still had the same amount of power.
