UTILISATION
Pour les reglages c pas tres simple il faut chercher.
Je l'utilise avec une basse active 5 cordes.
SONORITÉS
Juste un mot cet ampli manque un peu de puissance pour jouer avec un batteur qui envoie et le son manque un peu de rondeur
Pour remédier à ce défaut je lui ajoute un caisson de basse amplifié de 120 watts et là j'arrive à obtenir un son plus rond, plus chaud sans jouer fort.

UTILISATION
Simple sauf le niveau d'entrée à régler, qu'on ne trouve pas chez les concurrents. cela permettant d'ajuster pile poil l'ampli par rapport aux micros et préamplis de votre basse, je ne fais pas baisser la note.
pas de repères : j'ai dû faire des marques au marqueur, l'EQ est subtile et les transports bougent facilement les gros potards, qui ne sont pas crantés. -1 .
SONORITÉS
Blues, rock, hard rock et punk, jazz classique.
pas de tweeter : ptêt moins bien pour le funk, mais je n'en fais quasiment pas.
je n'y connais rien au "son" métal.. pas d'avis là dessus.
globalement le son est gras et l'attaque est précise (compense l'absence de tweeter je trouve). Le "gras" augmente en poussant les basses et les bas médiums, sans enlever trop de clarté au son.
La puissance : avec le HP interne, je mets à 9h le volume en répét (avec un guitariste et une chanteuse qui veut qu'on l'entende). Avis aux bourrins : à 11h vous déclenchez une émeute dans votre groupe. Le son reste indemne jusque là, au delà j'ai pas testé.
le 10 tient compte du prix.

Je corrige mon erreur (j'avais mis un avis pour le 12-180 alors que j'ai le 15-180) et j'en profite pour mettre mon avis à jour avec un peu plus d'expérience.
C'est le combo le plus polyvalent que j'ai pu essayer dans cette gamme de prix. Pas de concurrent envisageable, trace elliot, fender, etc... Meilleur que gallien krueger et ses backline (plus chers en plus). Il a certes son caractère propre (son gras), mais l'équalisation est telle qu'on peut avoir ce qu'on veut. L'absence de tweeter le limite à des sons traditionnels, mais il les fait bien.
Avec l'expérience je revois ma note à la hausse, donc. On en trouve de plus en plus dans le commerce et c'est normal. Aux concurrents de s'adapter !

I've only used this amplifier in the studio when the bass player of a band I was recording brought it in for the session. Ashdown is a cool company as they make some great bass amps for reasonable prices. The 15-180, somewhat obviously, boasts 180 watts of power through a single 15" speaker. It's a solid state amp and gives you a plethora of connections and routing options to work with including both an active and passive 1/4" input, 1/4" tuner output, 1/4" effects send and return, and also an XLR output for taking the amp direct out.
UTILIZATION
Using the Ashdown Electric Blue 15-180 isn't too hard and at the same time there is a lot of parameters and controls to work with. This includes built in compression, input and output levelers, and a three band EQ. It also has a bright switch and a sub harmonic knob that can produce some interesting full sounds. I haven't seen a manual for this and I don't think I ever will.
SOUNDS
The sound of the Ashdown Electric Blue 15-180 is pretty awesome. It's super full sounding and between all of the controls you can definitely get a wide array of tones. It's pretty big and should be loud enough to play shows with in a variety of venues. When recording it I took both a signal from XLR output and mic'd it up, both of which gave us some great sounds - especially the DI sound which was awesome coming straight from amp.
OVERALL OPINION
The Ashdown Electric Blue 15-180 is a superb choice for bass players on all levels who are looking for a great bass combo amp without spending too much money. I really like the sound of the amp and also love that you've got so much control - built in compression is a huge plus! I was surprised to find out how cheap these are. Those bass players out there looking for a top quality combo amp without the budget for one should definitely check out the Electric Blue 15-180 and the other amps Ashdown has to offer.

They have a great high performance and high-value amplifiers and speaker cabinets that has been able to be on stage for basically just about every genre of music. What is great about their amplifiers it is that they are very user-friendly and they're extremely versatile from genre to genre of music.
This is an amplifier there's more budget friendly for the bass player in mind. It contains a 1x 15 inch speaker and it has 180 W of power. That's still quite a bit of a pat lot power for a small little combo. So you can get some great tones and very loud tones with this combination. The tone of it is very Ashdown and the control knob and EQ knobs present themselves right line with the rest of the Ashdown product line. This is a fully loaded but very user-friendly and easy amplifier.

SOUNDS
The tone of this amplifier is extremely good. One of things that really draws me to the Ashdown base amplifiers is their compression knobs and their subharmonic knobs. This gives you such a great versatility over your tone to better match the guitars that you're using and any other effects pedals or rack units that you might be using in conjunction with your bass amplifier. When you dial in some of the growl and compression to this and you can get a good driving overdrive tone similar to a power tube section of a guitar amplifier. Even though this amplifier does not have power tubes in it the compression gives you the sense of the overdrive and focus that you would get out of the punchy powered tube guitar amplifier.
This amp uses 8 ohms of power and it can go all the way down to 4 ohms which gives you a good thundering low response. You can also run the speaker outputs Avenue of the back of the app into a larger speaker cabinet if you so please. And I can't forget about the line input and direct output which gives you the ability to use this in free direct live recording or by passing the speakers any gigging situation and going directly into the house system. This is a great feature and is mostly common on many base amplifiers at this price range and user range.

This amplifier can be found used for ride around $450 which is a pretty fair price when you get it has a great sound and is very usable in most guitar music in applications. This is aunt that is pretty lightweight since it's only 29 pounds so it can go to gig to gig very easily with you.
