NAGRA D II 4 channel 24 bit Linear Recorder

  • 4 channels (24 bit, 48 kHz, 2 @ 96 kHz)
  • SMPTE Time Code
  • Discreet longitudinal track
  • Menu driven set-up / Window’s software

Applications

In various different domains the NAGRA-D and DII are being used to capture the highest possible "on-location"  audio for film and television production. The music industry uses the NAGRA-D from mastering CD’s to  classical and ethnomusicology.

Time Code option

Nagra-D II TC not only offers all the features necessary for a location recorder, but  includes all the additional elements required in post-production. The NAGRA-Ds will perform full chase synchronizing functions for film post-production, plus chase-and-sample sync operations for multiple machine  recording. Of course it is compatible with all current SMPTE/EBU time code formats.

NADCOM

NADCOM  Window’s program (connected to Nagra D’s RS422 port) allows the user instant, permanent and unique access to the heart of the recorder. Detailed data can be printed out and kept as a  permanent historical account of a recording. Multiple windows can be opened simultaneously to monitor the  levels, error correction, analog measurements, internal settings of the machine, as well as offering the user full machine control and set-up possibilities.

Special features

Multi-track Up to 12 tracks with 3 NAGRA D II (sample sync accuracy)

Customized Parameters of the machine can be stored to be recalled instantly

Recording time Up to 4 hours of stereo 48 kHz/24 bit recording with 7” reels

Longitudinal tracks True longitudinal tracks for TC and cue
