UTILISATION
guitare légère, action haute mais ça se règle, le micro humbucker est un trois points si on le remplace par autre chose souvent en deux points il va falloir changer le pickguard et faire une défonce car le micro Fender est moins profond

Ayant eu une AM Std en touche Erable config SSS et ayant été satisfait à l'époque, je m'étais aventuré avec la même mais avec une touche Palissandre et surtout Humbucker pour plus de pêche en mode drive... déjà le son de la...…

SONORITÉS
Ayant eu une AM Std en touche Erable config SSS et ayant été satisfait à l'époque, je m'étais aventuré avec la même mais avec une touche Palissandre et surtout Humbucker pour plus de pêche en mode drive... déjà le son de la gratte avec les micros d'origine faut oublier, et-là me vient une superbe idée celle de récupérer mon kit micros de mon autre Am Std (Duncan JB JR) et une fois le branchement fait... là c'est le drame.... ça ne sonne pas du tout mais alors pas du tout pareil, par rapport à l'Erable la touche Palissandre donne un rendu un plus rond, ça manque de précision après je ne sais si c'est lié à la défonce humbucker ou pas ? mais l'ensemble sonne moins claquant et percutant, après comme chez Fender tout est démontable je permute le manche Erable afin de tester si ça ne vient pas de la défonce Humbucker... et finalement il y a un peu de ça et je pense aussi que les deux corps ne sont probablement pas de la même qualité, du coup j'ai revendu la HSS palissandre et gardé la SSS Erable plus percutant et claquant par rapport à l'autre plus rond et doux, si on aime les sons de strat plus velouté et moins claquant le modèle touche Palissandre sera alors top

AVIS GLOBAL
C'est une AM Std, on parle d'un modèle made in US d'usine, il n'y a pas d'arnaque sur la marchandise, ça sonne comme une petite strat de base et j'insiste bien là-dessus, à 900€ la gratte en bonne état d'occasion on est dans les prix, prévoir un bon réglage et le tour est joué, ça reste une bonne base pour ceux qui veulent connaitre la Strat sans trop se ruiner et pourquoi pas après taper sur une Custom Shop par la suite... je me suis fait mon experience dessus et depuis je me suis pris une Custom Shop manche Erable en SSS

Excellente Fender

Utilisée avec un ampli Koch pour jouer du Rock, du Hard et du Blues.
Très jolie guitare en finition Sunburst 2 tons, switch S1(peu utilisé), manche très confortable et pas épais, elle tient très bien l'accord.
Elle est équipée d'un humbucker en position chevalet qui permet d'envoyer du gros son. C'est une guitare très polyvalente qui convient à beaucoup de styles de jeu.

UTILISATION

L'ergonomie est celle de la strat, pour moi, c'est l'idéal.
Le poids : poids plume.
Accès au aigüs : je ne joue que très rarement dans les aigüs, je ne serais pas de bon conseil...

Le son : le son classique Fender, sauf pour les 2 premières positions du humbucker = son plus "rempli", un peu distortionné, moins clair qu'avec un simple bobinnage.

SONORITÉS

Style de musique : rock/pop/blues

Pour les sons disto : la position humbucker est idéale, pour les autres, son classique Fender.

Je joue sur un ampli basse Trace Elliot (je suis bassiste)


AVIS GLOBAL

Je voulais racheter une Strat (vendue mon ex-strat il y a plusieurs années).

J'ai essayé la même avec une touche en palissandre mais je n'ai pas eu le temps de me rendre compte de la différence.

Ce que j'aime sur cette guitare, l'arrière du manche en vernis satiné (et pas brillant, ça glisse moins bien). Et la forme du corps qui permet de jouer assis sans voir le manche monter ou descendre (j'avais essayé une Les Paul de Gibson, c'est beaucoup trop déséquilibré, je n'aime pas, mais alors pas du tout !)

Décent MIM HSS

The Fender American Standard guitar is pretty much the Fender that everybody thinks of when they're thinking of Fender guitars. This one has an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard, 21 frets, a standard vintage style tremolo, an HSS configuration with one volume, two tones and a five way switch.

UTILIZATION

The guitar is put together decently. The fretwork needed a bit of attention, though. The biggest issue was that the frets weren't perfectly crowned. When you look at the frets, they should have a very nice roundness to them, but these were slightly flat on the top, and it wasn't due to fret wear. The nut was cut nicely on this, and it still had all the features of a regular strat. One thing I wasn't a fan of was the 21 fret limitation. That's a big issue for me as I'm a lead player who tends to travel up to the higher end quite a bit.

SOUNDS

The guitar sounded decent. The stock pickups in this thing weren't the best. I forget exactly what they were, but I believe they were all Fender made. The neck single had a cool single tone going on, but it didn't floor me. I only use the middle for splitting, and the split positions sounded decent; they had a decent quack going on. The bridge was kinda dull sounding and lacked the clarity I would have liked in a quality humubucker. That said, the guitar was pretty versatile thanks to this configuration. You could cover all kinds of different genres with this thing.

OVERALL OPINION

The guitar is decent, especially considering the price. However, I recommend you play quite a few of these before you buy simply because some might have some fretwork issues. The biggest thing to listen for is resonance as everything else can usually be fixed by a competent luthier.
