This is a completely custom made, hand wired, point to point distortion overdrive pedal that includes:

2 12ax7s
* BRITE CRUNCH - increases volume and overdrive
* FAT DRIVE - provides a fatter drive and boost
* SWEET - a sweepable treble and bass control
* EDGE - a presence-like control
* MIDS - a typical middle frequency control
* MASTER - overall output level control
* Switching is "true bypass"
Mine also has an added "Starve" switch which is kind of cool (i'll go into it later)

UTILIZATION

Lets start with the knobs!!!

The brite crunch knob controls the amount of gain and overdrive one would want on the highs. The fat drive, controls the amount of gain and overdrive on the lows. The sweet knob is like an overall global sweep that changes the entire range of the guitar signal, like the website says, like a parametric control across a broad frequency range, boosting and diminishing highs and lows across its sweep to allow the player to find his amp's sweet spot.

The edge knob is like a presence knob adding bite and 'edge' or diminishing it.
The mids is a regular mid knob. The master is the master volume.

The starve switch is the added feature that I got, Glen is a funny guy. Every time he makes something he'll spontaneously add something that just seems to work and is almost always beneficial! The starve switch is sort of like, a 'sag' I'd say it almost emulates a sort of dying battery sound where the output is lowered and the overdrive is a bit more saturated sounding. You can almost use it like a rhythm/lead thing if you want since the output is significantly different when engaged and not engaged.

Overall it's a distortion/overdrive pedal. Pretty simple to use, just with more knobs for specific sound-tailoring.

SOUND QUALITY

There are many reasons why I gave this an absolute 10, I can't go into ALL the details of why otherwise I'd be publishing a book. So I will state the important thing, this pedal is the most VERSATILE pedal in the WORLD!

This pedal is transparent, you can use it as a subtle overdrive with your favorite amp and get tweak in some awesome subtle tone changes.

But most importantly this pedal has it's own identity as well; I've plugged this pedal into many different tube amps, I've even plugged it into a roland cube and a boss Eband and have been able to still get the morr-tone's sound through it. Especially through the EBAND! that's a friggin DESKTOP amp and I still got thick creamy tubey distortion tones!!!

How cool is that?!!

I've also been able to make this sound like an AM radio depending on how the EQ knobs were set!!

What other pedals can do so much? I have yet to find one. One thing to note, this is not a high-gain metal pedal. It will not due super saturated thin-death metal guitar tones. It will do everything else except that. I've never felt that boutique guitar tones were meant for death metal/black metal anyway, that just doesn't make sense.

OVERALL OPINION

Versatile, super versatile. This pedal can be made to sound exactly like your amp's overdrive or can inflict it's identity with any other amps from tube to solidstate. I don't know how it does it, maybe cause it's completely hand-wired? No clue. But this is definitely something one should look into if you're looking for the ultimate distortion/overdrive pedal.

It's pretty pricey but so far I don't regret it and I've been able to even record with this pedal just straight through with amp plugins and still get very very good tones!!

Just awesome!!
