This box incorporates simple yet very effective EQ switches as well as the -15/-30 pads that allow you to drive the valves for a very pleasant, heavy saturation. It does so while maintaining the signal's integrity. The D.I. does wonderful things to electronic instruments (keys, drum machines, electric bass guitars, etc).

UTILIZATION
Again, the EQ switches are there when you need them. They make this pre-amp very flexible. The added "pad" switches give you even more options, allowing you to drive the inputs hard. And still, your sound stays together tightly, while still sounding huge and "bigger than life". This box has soul.
Feels rock solid. Opened mine up and this thing is built like a tank. There are no "cutting corners" here. The soldering is clean and neat. There components and circuits have adequate space to breathe. Everything about this pre-amp screams high quality and passion for music. Passion for the music. That's what it's all about.
SOUND QUALITY
Stunning. Punch. Clarity. Resolution. Smooth. REAL. This pre-amp goes very far in my setup. I use it on a lot of sources, and it always leaves a pleasant stamp on the source at the output.
OVERALL OPINION
I'm giving this box "10"'s all the way. It is something refreshing on the scene... something that is different and much needed with all of the sub-par, over-priced gear flooding the market. The Sebatron VMP pre-amps are nothing short of awesome. These boxes should be selling for much more money.
