UTILISATION
Super puissant, je ne l'utilise jamais a sa pleine puissance...je crois avoir rarement dépassé 1/10 en volume clean.
malgrés cela il reste trés facilement jouable à la maison.
SONORITÉS
Le meilleur clean que j'ai entendu jusqu'a aujourd'hui.
J'ai eu un Hotrod deluxe et un Reverb 65', rien a voir avec mon Hook !
Les basses sont bien là c'est un regal autant avec une strat qu'avec une Les Paul.
Le canal 2 est bluesy a souhait, j'ai entendu une fois dire que c'etait un "Dumble like".
Excellent crunch !

Excellent ampli, s'il devait y avoir 1 point négatif ce serait reellement sa puissance.
Je serai peut être pret à echanger contre un R20.

The R40 is a 6L6 based dual channel amplifier, with a active effects-loop and a vintage sparkling spring reverb. If you need more headroom and power than it big and creamy smaller brother the R20 The R40 will bring it to you , Bigger and more powerful, If you play Humbuckers mainly and you might want to stay cleaner a little longer ……the R40 set you up with a solid base Clean is loud enough for big punchy chords and works perfect with pedals, and has that same classic american bouncy tone as the R20 Lead has a tight bass response, fat creamy mids, with enough treble bite to cut though the mix.
A Celestion G12-65 speaker or a Warehouse ET65 custom made speaker completes the R20, As we offer the main Warehouse speaker line with the R40 and the other models So you can choose the speaker that will bring you that tone. And it works perfectly with the special tuned combo .
Both channels have reverb are foot switchable with the added switch On the second channel we added a extra master, this option works in combination with the footswitch only, so now you can set up your the lead sound on a higher level whenever you want , and to pump you solo out of the band to be heard
The HOOK R40 is available as a combo or as a head
and comes standard in the black / Ivory two tone color combination.
