People had bragged online endlessly about these cabinets online for quite some time and I wondered how much better they were compared to the regular cabs I've owned. People praised them for sounding much bigger and mire 3D than most standard cabs due to their ported construction. The OS 212 was of particular interest to me as it was rumored to sound as big as a 4x12 with two less speakers! After a couple of years I decided to get one for myself and a used example with Celestion Vintage 30s was shipped in to me. Upon first inspection I noted how sturdy the cab was. It is also fairly light as well, though I do wish it had more than the one top mounted handle. The port is located at the bottom of the cab and I was very curious to see if the reviews were all that they claimed to be. Using a Bogner Ecstasy 101B with EL34s, the cabinet sounded KILLER. I marveled and marveled at how it did indeed sound much bigger than any 2x12 cab that I've owned. Compared to my last Vintage 30 loaded 2x12 this cab is bugger and much more pronounced in all registers. The low end is particularly great with this cab, likely due to the ported design. My clean tones were bolder and cut through better, and my drive tones are obscenely rich and fat sounding, dripping with perfect overtones and harmonics. In a band mix I could hear myself much better and didn't need to place my cab somewhere new to get my sound... it was there right away without issue. The design is a true winner for sure. They run about $750 for a new OS212 which is a fantastic price, and they're less if you buy used. I will be buying these cabs exclusively from now on as they're just that good! DEFINITELY recommended to try... it'll likely blow your current cab out of the water!

Les gens avaient vanté en ligne sans fin sur ces armoires en ligne depuis un certain temps et je me demandais comment ils ont été beaucoup mieux par rapport à la cabine régulière que j'ai possédé. Les gens les a félicités pour le sondage beaucoup plus grande et 3D bourbier que la plupart des cabines standard en raison de leur construction porté. Les 212 OS était d'un intérêt particulier pour moi car il a été répandu pour son gros comme une 4x12 avec deux haut-parleurs de moins! Après quelques années, j'ai décidé de faire une pour moi et un exemple utilisé avec Celestion Vintage 30s a été expédié en à moi. Dès la première inspection, je note combien la cabine était stable. Il est également assez léger aussi, bien que je ne souhaite qu'il avait plus que l'une poignée montée au sommet. Le port est situé au bas de la cabine et j'étais très curieux de voir si les commentaires étaient tout ce qu'ils prétendaient être. L'utilisation d'un 101B ecstasy Bogner avec EL34, le cabinet sonné KILLER. J'ai été émerveillé et s'émerveillaient de la manière dont il a effectivement beaucoup plus saine que n'importe quel cab 2x12 que j'ai possédé. Par rapport à mon dernier Vintage 30 2x12 chargés de cette cabine est bougre, et bien plus prononcée dans tous les registres. Le bas de gamme est particulièrement grand avec cette cabine, probablement en raison de la conception à évent. Mes sons clairs sont plus audacieux et couper à travers un meilleur, et mes tonalités d'entraînement sont excessivement riche et gras sonne, dégoulinant avec des accents parfaits et les harmoniques. Dans un mixage d'orchestre, je pouvais m'entendre beaucoup mieux et n'a pas besoin de placer mon taxi à un nouvel endroit pour obtenir mon son ... il était là tout de suite sans problème. Le design est un vrai gagnant à coup sûr. Ils courent environ 750 $ pour une nouvelle OS212 qui est un prix fantastique, et ils sont moins si vous achetez utilisé. Je vais être l'achat de ces cabines exclusivement à partir de maintenant car ils sont juste bon que ça! Fortement recommandé d'essayer ... il va probablement exploser votre cabine actuelle hors de l'eau!
