    Comment peut-elle tenir?

The Peavey PVi 4B is a channel powered mixer, it has 4 mic inputs (balanced) and another 4 ¼ line inputs. You can control the tone, reverb and levels of each channel easily on this mixer. Controlling the reverb on each channel was very important to me making my purchase of this mixer.
There is no compression on this mixer and that was the downfall of getting it but I could work around that with an external compressor. There could also be more effects on the PVi 4B, that would make it more desirable as well but at this price you cannot expect to get all of the higher end features.
This mixer does have phantom power and the mixer itself is a very good size. It is very portable because it is not that big nor is it that heavy. There is also a handle on the top that made it easy for me to take it around with me. This mixer has just come out and it is one of the newest mixers from Peavey. It will be interesting to see how it holds up over time. But in the last few days that I have had a chance to use it I can say it seems very durable so far and the knobs on the front are well made and do not feel cheap. This mixer only retails now for 180 dollars making it very affordable for someone who needs a smaller mixer.
The PVi 4B comes with a manual and it is easy to use, I am not too sure how long I will be able to use this mixer due to most of the shows that I currently am running. In the long run I will need more inputs, but for now it is working just fine for me. This mixer just needs more effects, and it would be excellent. There are other Peavey mixers that have more effects and they will cost more too. I own a lot of mixers and though I would give this one a shot since it just came out and I had a chance to work with it.
