    son terrible

The GC1 is one of the bottom end mics from ADK. The price of it is fairly low as well, after using this mic in 2008-09 I came to realize a few things. One thing is that the mic doesn’t compare at all to a shure low end mic and two the quality is awful. I knew from the star that it was a low end mic but I was just looking for something to get me by for the time being so I decided to go with the GC1 over some of the Shure lower end mics basically just to save a few pennies but at the end of the day it was one of the worst mics that I have ever used from home . There was just no way I could get some good demo’s using the GC1. There are so many other mics in the stores that cost a little more than this but they sound way better than the quality you can get with the GC1.

    OVERALL OPINION

The thing I hate the most about it is the quality, there really isn’t much more to say about it. It just sounds like it was recorded on a head set type of microphone that telemarketers use for there jobs. No amount of mixing or mastering can fix the poor quality that the GC1 will put out. Also, after using it I noticed that it has been discontinued or “no longer made or sold” probably due to the fact that it isn’t too good. These mics go online for dirt cheap literally and if you purchase it you will see why they are so cheap. Using it for vocals or instruments is a huge mistake. Do not let them sell this too you. Spend a little more money and get a mic that’s actually worth using.
