1. New Amp Models:
Firmware V4 update adds six (6) meticulously crafted new amp models to the NUX Amp Academy, offering a wider range of tonal possibilities and catering to various musical genres and styles.
(1) LStar: Inspired by the Mesa Boogie Lonestar, this model captures the essence of its warm, rich, and versatile tone, perfect for players seeking a balance of clarity and depth.
(2) Princetone: Emulating the classic Fender Princeton Reverb, this model offers the quintessential clean and overdriven tones that have defined countless records.
(3) Classic A30: Drawing inspiration from the legendary VOX AC30, this amp model delivers the iconic jangly and chimey sound, a staple for British rock and beyond.
(4) Deluxe Rvb: Based on the Fender Deluxe Reverb, known for its lush, articulate clean sound, this model is ideal for players seeking classic American tones.
(5) Brit 2000: Modeled after the Marshall JCM2000, this amp brings the aggressive and punchy high-gain sounds, perfect for rock and metal.
(6) VIVO: A rendition of the Peavey 5150 Block Letter, this model is tailored for players who desire high-gain tones with tight response and clarity.
2. New IRs:
To complement the new amp models, V4 includes six (6) new Impulse Responses (IRs) that match each amp. These IRs are designed to provide a realistic and immersive playing experience, ensuring your tone is authentic and resonant in any setting.
3. Knob Locking Feature:
In response to user feedback, we've introduced a knob locking feature to prevent accidental changes to your settings. This feature can be enabled/disenabled on the editor software. When enabled, it locks the parameters when you turn the knobs, ensuring your carefully crafted tones remain unchanged during performance.
Automatic Activation: The lock activates automatically after 30 seconds of no knob activity.
Unlocking Mechanism: To unlock the knobs, simply hold the Scene footswitch for 0.5 seconds, giving you back full control.
